1. Liability for Content

Extreme care was taken in developing the content of our website. However, we cannot accept any liability for the content being correct, complete and up to date. Being a service provider as defined in the general principles of Article 7 Paragraph 1 of the German Telemedia Act (TMG), we are responsible for our website's content. Sections 8 through 10 of the German Telemedia Act (TMG), however, state that as a service provider we are not obligated to monitor the content of any linked web pages of third persons, or check for any indications of unlawful activity on these third-party web pages. Our obligation to remove or block any information in violation of applicable laws remains unaffected thereby.  Our liability to remove such content begins when we become aware of concrete evidence of the violation, at which point we will immediately remove the corresponding content.

2. Liability for Links

Our website contains links to the external webpages of third parties, and we have no influence on this content. We therefore cannot accept any liability for this third party content. Responsibility for these pages rests solely with the respective provider or operator of these linked pages. The linked pages were checked by us for possible legal violations at the time of linking, and we were unable to identify any illegal content at the time of the linking. However, we point out that constant checking of the content of these linked pages is not reasonable as long as there is no concrete evidence for an infringement of the law. If we become aware of any illegality, the corresponding content will be immediately removed.

3. Copyright

The content of our website is protected by copyright law. The reproduction of its information, especially with regard to the use of any text (in whole or in part) or images, is expressly prohibited without our prior written consent. All information and data, the use thereof and registration of the main elements - living concepts website as well as any action, tolerance or omission associated with the use of this website shall be exclusively subject to German law.

Any content contained on our website not developed by us is subject to the copyrights of the respective owners. This applies especially to any content belonging to third parties, which is indicated as such. If, despite our due care, you detect any copyright violations on our website, we ask that you inform us of this fact, providing the relevant information. Upon becoming aware of any copyright violation, the corresponding content will be removed promptly. This website may be displayed in third-party frames only with our prior written permission.

4. Data Protection

The protection of personal data, collected through the use of this website, is extremely important to us. Any personal data collected from you will be kept confidential, and not shared with any third-party by either us or any agent authorized by us, without your express prior approval. The following information is provided to help you understand how we collect and use the personal data you provide on this website.

4.1 Collection and Processing of Personal Data

Personal data is only collected through the information you provide us when, for example, you register online, fill out an online form, send us an email, or provide us personal data when asking us a question or requesting information. If you use our website's online form, you are asked to provide specific personal information (such as name, address, date of birth, email address or phone number). You provide this personal information by filling out the online form and submitting it, or by faxing us the completed print PDF form. We use the data provided on these forms (online and printed PDF) exclusively for their stated purpose. Please note that upon request by the applicable authorities, we are required to disclose information about this data (master data) on a case by case basis insofar as this is required for the purpose of enforcing the law, averting danger, or meeting the legal obligations of authorities for the protection of the constitution or the military counter-intelligence service, or to protect intellectual property rights.

4.2 Processing of data on our website

We automatically collect and archive information provided by your browser in the form of server log files. This information consists of:

- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Website from which you visited our website (referrer URL)
- IP number assigned to you by your internet provider
- Date and time you accessed our website (server request)

This information is provided to us in anonymized form, and is not linked to any other information from other sources. After being statistically analyzed, the data is deleted.

4.3 Data collection through Google Analytics

To continuously enhance our online presence, we need to understand how visitors use our website. For this, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis tool developed by Google Inc. This tool uses cookies (see section 4.3.1) to track how you use our website (time of day, dwell time on individual pages, etc.). Information on how you use our website, together with your IP address, is transmitted to a Google server, where it is stored and analyzed. Google then uses this information to provide us with reports illustrating how our website is used. If a third party processes this data on behalf of Google, or if legally required to do so, Google will provide this data to a third party. However, Google will not link your IP address to any other data.

4.3.1 You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser configuration accordingly; however, doing so may prevent you from fully using all of the website’s functions. If you wish to prevent Google Analytics from collecting and storing any of this data in the future, you can opt-out at any time. More information is available at: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

4.3.2 By using this website, you agree to allow Google to process the data obtained from you in the manner described above and for the aforementioned purpose.

4.4 Data collection through Facebook

Our website uses plug-ins from the social network Facebook (Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA). Accessing a page with such a plug-in connects you to the Facebook servers, which causes the plug-in to be displayed on the page seen in your browser. This tells the Facebook servers which of our webpages you have visited. If you have a Facebook account and are logged into Facebook, this information is linked to your Facebook account. When you use the plug-in (for example, by clicking the "Like" button or adding a comment), this information as well is linked to your Facebook account. The only way to prevent this from happening is to log off from Facebook before using the plug-in. For information on the purpose and scope of the data collected, as well as how this data is later used or processed by Facebook (including your corresponding rights, and how you can protect these rights), please consult the data protection information provided by Facebook.

4.5 Right to information, and right to demand the deletion or blocking of your data

Users of our website have the right to request what personal data we have stored about them. We can provide this information electronically or in paper form upon request. You can also request that this data be corrected or deleted if it is no longer needed for fulfillment of the terms of a contract. If we have a legal or contractual obligation to retain this data, it will be blocked instead of deleted.

5. Special User Agreement

Any use of our website subject to special conditions not covered in the aforementioned sections 1 through 4 is explicitly indicated as such in the relevant place. In such cases, the special terms applicable to that particular use take precedence.
